Hillary A. Drinkell worked with the American Montessori Society
LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ — Hillary A. Drinkell, a teaher at the New Gate-Field School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Recently, Hillary A. Drinkell returned to the classroom after serving as Dean of the New Gate School before it merged to become the New Gate-Field School. Her responsibilities as Dean included supervising elementary education faculty and program specialists, assisting in writing parent and faculty handbooks and reviewing faculty performance. She also aided in school hiring, budgeting, strategic planning for enrollment growth, conducting in-house training and meetings, ensuring curriculum compliance with school regulations and approving department lesson plans. With 22 years of specialist encounter, Ms. Drinkell attributes her success to the inspiration she gained right after observing an independent Japanese school.
Ms. Drinkell received a master’s degree in education in 2009 from Plymouth State University. In 1979, she received a bachelor’s degree, dual major in industrial psychology and speech and drama, from the University of Natel (now University of KwaZulu-Natal). A certified Montessori Educator, she can be a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Association of Independent Schools, and the American Montessori Society.
